Truck bed loaded with cast iron radiators and pipe for haul-out

Loaded, hauled, scrapped

Scrap and Equipment Haul-Away

Boiler sections, radiators, pipe, dead equipment, the pile behind the building. If it is metal and in the way, we break it down, load it and haul it. Recyclable metal gets recycled, the rest goes to a proper facility, and the estimated scrap value is credited into the proposal price up front.

What we remove

On the list

  • Boiler sections, cast iron and radiators
  • Steel and copper piping
  • Ductwork and sheet metal
  • Dead HVAC and mechanical equipment
  • Tanks and vessels
  • Mixed metal piles from a renovation

How it goes

The way we do it

  1. 01

    Tell us what and where

A photo and an address is enough. Outside and staged is the quick version; inside, upstairs or in a pit takes a bigger crew.

  2. 02

    Break it down

Anything too big for the truck gets cut or sectioned on site.

  3. 03

    Load and haul

Our trucks, our labor. Loaded, strapped, gone.

  4. 04

    Recycle and dispose

Metal to the yard by grade. Non-metal to the right facility under Colorado regulations. Nothing left behind.

Before we arrive

Your side of the line

Every proposal spells this out. It is what keeps the job safe and the price honest.

  • Gas, electrical and water disconnected, capped and locked out by your licensed trades. We don't touch live utilities.
  • Equipment drained and isolated before we arrive, unless draining is written into our scope.
  • Refrigerant recovered by an EPA-certified tech before we open anything, unless recovery is written into our scope (it can be).
  • Clear access to the room and a place to stage the trucks by the scheduled start.
  • Anything unusual about the site in writing before start day: tenant schedules, noise windows, hazardous-material reports, access restrictions.

Included

  • Loading, hauling and disposal
  • Cutting and sectioning to fit the truck
  • Estimated scrap value credited into the proposal price up front
  • Clean pickup area when we leave

Not included unless it is in the scope

  • Hazardous materials, asbestos or refrigerant-charged equipment without recovery first
  • Household junk that isn't metal or mechanical

Questions we get

Straight answers

Do I get paid for the scrap?

The estimated scrap value is credited into the proposal price before the job starts, which is one reason our removal numbers are lower than a general hauler. It is built into the number, not paid back afterward. If your organization keeps its salvage, tell us before we bid and the price is adjusted up front.

Will you haul an old boiler that is already disconnected and sitting there?

Yes. If it is disconnected and drained, that is a haul-away job and it is quick. If it still needs to come apart to fit through the door, it becomes a small demolition job and we price it that way.

What about the non-metal parts?

Refractory, insulation and other non-metal debris ride along and go to the right facility. If any of it is suspected asbestos, that stops the job until a licensed abatement contractor handles it.
